I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to this website. Whether or not you use my services, I sincerely hope that you will find the information here is helpful to you and your organization.

Mission Statement:

The primary purposes of this website are four-fold. The first goal is to offer you practical, real world, field-tested information that may help you more quickly identify when a critical incident has occurred.

The second goal is to help you initiate a crisis response to an incident that is currently in progress or has recently occurred and has been sufficiently powerful enough to impact people’s ability to function. If so, this site contains practical information to assist you in knowing what to look for in order to begin assessing the immediate potential impact of the critical incident.

The third goal is to give you some basic understanding of the types of on-scene and post-incident services that can be employed to help return you and others to a normal level of functioning, as well as how to rapidly access these services.

The fourth goal is to provide you with some information if you are contemplating creating your own crisis response team or are looking to revitalize and enhance an existing team.

The overall mission has been accomplished if you find the information contained in this site useful to you and your organization.

If I can be of any assistance, I encourage and welcome you to contact me for an assessment, consultation, or crisis intervention services.

Kind regards,

Dr. Gary Brown
